29 years old Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil quits international football for Germany after being attacked by Germans , Germany Media and Politicians racially. The footballer who is of Turkish descent was attacked by Germans for being pictured with Turkish President Erdogan and was blamed for Germany’s lose at the World Cup .
Mesut Ozil released a series of statements to defend his actions and his ancestry by saying
During my childhood, my mother taught me to always be respectful and to never forget where I came from.”
In his statements, he addressed criticism from his picture with Turkish President, Politicians and Media house.
