Just 2 days after the 9 years memorial of the death of king of pop Michael Jackson, his father Joe Jackson has died after struggling with pancreatic cancer at the age of 89. He died 3:30am in Los Angeles today He’s the creator and Patriach of one of the greatest bands in the 60s and 70s,The Jackson 5 with Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marion and Michael Jackson and the career of his youngest daughter Janet Jackson.
The Michael Jackson’s estate as released a statement
We are deeply saddened by Mr Jackson’s passing and extend our heartfelt condolences to Mrs Katherine Jackson and the family. Joe was a strong man who acknowledged his own imperfections and heroically delivered his sons and daughters from the steel mills of Gary, Indiana to worldwide pop superstardom.”
