Neymar has flown back to Barcelona to resume his pre-season training with the Catalan giants, according to Sky sources.
The 25-year-old forward flew back to Spain from Dubai on Tuesday after attending a series of promotional events in China earlier this week.
Sky sources understand talks to take Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain are now at an advanced stage, with one source close to the player maintaining it remains “highly likely” a deal will happen.
PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi believes negotiations are going well and that a deal is likely to be agreed for the forward, who has a €222m (£196m) release clause in his contract at the Nou Camp.
