Wizkid is the first African artist to win “Best International Act” at the MOBO Awards, joining the likes of Eminem, Drake, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, and Beyoncé as winners of the category. Wizkid has won “Best International Act” at the 2017 MOBO Awards — defeating Jay-Z, Cardi B, Travis Scott, Migos, DJ Khaled, Solange, Drake, SZA, and Kendrick Lamar.
Davido has become the first African Artist to have won the MTV EMA, BET Award and MOBO Award for Best African Act and also the MTV EMA for Best Worldwide Act COMBINED.
Defeating Wande coal, Wizkid, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Maleek Berry,Juls,Sarkodie,Eugy , Davido has won the award. .
