We understand Arsenal have so far not responded to Manchester City’s second offer of £55m plus £5m in add-ons for Sanchez.
But with a ‘Lemar to Arsenal’ deal looking dead, our contacts are telling us that there’s little chance of the Chilean striker heading to the Etihad.
Importantly, our contacts have suggested that City are unwilling to improve their offer beyond the £60m nor will they include any players as a makeweight in any deal.
