SANCHEZ UPDATE
Now, to one of the most talked about players in this transfer window…
Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez arrived back in London today following extended leave due to playing in the Confederations Cup. He was originally expected to return at the weekend but his leave was prolonged further because of illness.
Sanchez, who is attracting interest from Man City and PSG, flew from Santiago via Paris with his lawyer. We’re told that is purely coincidental and it’s normal for South American plames to stop off in places such as Paris and Madrid for refuelling. There are also reports that he was renewing his work permit.
It’s unclear if Sanchez is at Arsenal’s training ground today. As is consistent with club policy Arsenal will not reveal the whereabouts of individual players.
